Style Coaching Case Study: A New Mom

It’s my mission to help heart-centered women find their soul-aligned style and reveal their inner beauty through their entire presence.

It love seeing my clients come out of their shell and step into their true power. It’s so rewarding to see the radiate from within! The journey we embark on when we start working together is not always roses and butterflies, though. Leaving your comfort zone often comes with intense emotions and it takes a bunch of motivation to commit to changing yourself.

Your style is the mirror of your soul. And when you align it with your true essence, magical things happen.

Decluttering your wardrobe often feels like pulling the rug out from under yourself. Getting rid of the clothes that gave you safety and comfort for so long is an emotional experience. But when you’re birthing a new version of yourself, you cannot risk to have the old vibrations pulling you back to a place where you no longer belong.

Burning the bridges to your past can make you feel unsafe and ungrounded at times but it’s necessary part of creating energetic and physical space for the new to come. The road to unlocking your soul-aligned style maybe bumpy sometimes but the journey definitely worth all your while.

Read my interview with Viviana below and find out how we aligned her style with her true essence.

Viviana, how did you feel before working with me?

I had never thought about working with a stylist before I met you. I thought I had good style and dressed well. Yet, becoming a mom made me go from that confident woman in jacket and dresses to crying when I looked myself in the mirror.

Why did you feel that way?

I had my baby Nahuel about 8 months before I started working with you. I was emotional and needing help to get my confidence back. I was resisting accepting that my body had changed. I loved my belly and my pregnancy body - but I didn’t feel the same after giving birth!

How was the way you were feeling affecting your life?

I was buying clothes that didn't make me feel good. I wasn’t sure if I was going to start my coaching business, even though I’d put so much effort into studying while having a little baby. I was doubtful, all over the place, and not feeling like myself. Unclear and messy.

Was there a particular moment or incident that made you think ‘things have to change’?

Every day was a struggle to find clothes that were suitable to wear while breastfeeding but also looked elegant. I also wish I could have invented unstainable clothes because I was always covered in baby food! I wasn’t going out because I didn't feel good about myself when I got dressed. Yet, when I looked at other coaches that had babies Nahuel’s age, they looked beautiful and seemed to be embracing their bodies - and their clothes reflected this.

Why did you decide to work with me specifically?

We met through the Female Entrepreneur Association, and I’d been following your work for a while. Your brand looked beautiful, and it resonated with me. You offered me a bespoke package that included you coming to my home to help me declutter and ditch some of the items I wasn't ready to part with. I knew you and trusted that you would help me.

How did you find the process of working with me?

It was hard in the beginning. It was a really emotional experience - my husband came home and didn't understand why, when I had invested in something I really wanted, I was upset and crying. I rang my friend and told her (still crying!) "It's like I'm dumping all my confidence. My jackets are all in the bag, my confidence is all in THE BAG!"

But that was my big realization - I was putting my confidence in something external. Me - the person who’s always so clear and knows what to do! To be completely honest, I wasn't sure about investing in this program, I thought it was selfish thing to do. I wondered if it was worth it to pay someone to tell me how to dress, after all, I could go shopping with a friend that has a great taste! NO! I was wrong! You have studied, and you have a passion for helping women to find their confidence and be stylish. You challenged me, but you supported me and you stood by me when I felt like giving up! Would I say it’s worth the investment? Hell yes!!

Today I came home after an incredible shopping experience with my husband and baby. I couldn’t feel better about the things I bought, because each and every single piece I love, each and every single piece makes me smile, and finally, after 3 months, I’ve found a pair of jeans that I love!!

I really feel good, and I now appreciate the journey because I have seen results. It takes time, it is not the easiest path, I can say that. It has made my journey peaceful, joyful and so much more exciting. It was unpredictable, it was emotional, and I wouldn't change any of it!!

Which parts of the process did you particularly enjoy?

The results and my new outfits.

Were there any bits you didn’t enjoy?

Looking at myself in the mirror for four hours!

Which parts of the process did you find particularly challenging? Why?

Not going shopping after the declutter session because I felt like I had nothing to wear and I was really emotional.

Also, in the beginning, giving away my jackets!

How have you changed since working with me?

I feel more confident, and I love my outfits. I now know how to look taller without heels!

What in your life has changed since working with me?

I am more productive with my time, as I can say NO to outfits that don't work for me. I know what looks good on me and how to match and mix outfits. I don't lose time or money buying things that don't fit my body or my skin. I feel really confident when it comes to my own personal style. I don't need to get any acceptance from others or second guess on what looks good on me.

Also, traveling is much easier with my ‘mix and match’ outfits already done!

Style Coaching Case Study: A New Mom

Have you had any ‘big wins’ in your life since working with me?

Lots of compliments from colleagues and clients on my outfits.

If you were recommending me to a friend, what would you say?

Go for it - it’s the best investment ever!! You will keep seeing the results and you will love Veronika every time you buy something!!

Did you have any hesitations or reservations about working with me? If so, please could you share them?

Yes! It was an investment, and it felt selfish as a new mom and not having a job. Also “Milan” and “Lezzeno” (where I live) are very different so I thought you were going to tell me to buy or wear high heels all the time - but that’s far from the truth. I love my white sneakers and skirts!
